Letters from the Margins
Letters from the Margins
A space between the lines — where writing meets becoming.🌅 Opening Reflection
I'm finding who I am, I just turned 22 and I'm just trying to figure out what I like/don't like and just live.
I love how I can speak through the silence with out saying a word, I know longer see it as a curse but a gift.
What I’m Writing
I’m slowly crafting a piece about a man named Solaris (who is born in a world were no one has a mouth but him and everyone speaks through their eyes and body language), that describes my world in my head when I was younger, because finding words to fit my feelings was hard so instead I created an inner world I snuck off to, I still do go there but now ill be able to share my world with. you.
What’s Been On My Mind
I’ve been thinking about how people always seem to have invisible rules, with dating and platonic relationships but yet push talking about communication. Being autistic is like playing monopoly when everyone else is playing uno.
Books I'm Sitting With
- The Creation of patriarchy by Gerda Lerner, I'm wanting to understand why this has such a hold on people.
- ASSATA An Autobiography — a Black panther women who was acused of murder.
- The Bell Jar — brilliant, beutiful, enormously talented, and successful but slowly going under- maybe for the last time.
🕯 Why This Page Exists
This letter is for anyone still fumbling toward their name. I’m writing because sometimes the only way out is through — and writing helps me remember that I’m not the only one becoming.
